Find out how to integrate Teamspective into your Microsoft Teams workspace

Updated over a week ago

Get the best possible user experience by connecting Teamspective to your Microsoft Teams workspace.

Remove the need to separately remember to log into Teamspective, by bringing all the most important actions to the same place where your other work happens.

Connect Teamspective to your Teams:

  1. Find the Teamspective app. Go to Microsoft Teams and look for Teamspective in the side bar. If you found it, move to step 3.

  2. If you cannot see Teamspective in the sidebar, click the three dots and type 'Teamspective' into the search bar. Then click the Teamspective app to add and activate it. If this is not possible, check the troubleshooting guide below.

  3. After entering Teamspective in Teams, you should see a message from the bot. If the message mentions your email address, the accounts are now connected and you can start using Teamspective via Teams.

  4. Now you can interact with the messages you receive from the bot, for example pulse surveys or feedback requests.

  5. The bot responds to commands Feedback, Access Teamspective web and Help.

  6. Check your Teamspective notification settings to control which notifications you want to receive, and in which channel (Teams, email etc).

If Teams is where you work every day, our recommendation is to choose it and keep all the notifications activated - we send as few of them as possible.

If you cannot find Teamspective app or are not allowed to add it into Teams

If you still don't see or cannot access Teamspective app, your company may have restricted use of 3rd party apps in Teams. Your Teams admin person can whitelist Teamspective. Instructions for admins can be found here.
