Learn how to integrate Teamspective to Slack.

Get the best possible user experience by integrating Teamspective to your Slackworkspace. It brings all the important actions directly to where your employees already work, removing the need to separately remember to log into Teamspective.

ℹ️ Your employees most enjoy the tools that require minimal effort from them. With the Slack integration in place, your employees can answer pulse surveys, network surveys and send feedback directly in the communication tool they already use.

They also get notified of new results and feedback, making it easy to notice and go check the results with just one click.

Slack integration

To activate Slack integration, follow these steps:

  1. Invite an admin of your Slack workspace to your Teamspective workspace, and give them administrator permissions in the members page. If you are a Slack admin then you can skip this step.

  2. The admin person should go to workspace Settings and connect Slack from there. The permissions flow will only ask for permissions that are important for Teamspective to work properly, so you should grant all the permissions it is asking.

  3. If you use the Praise feature in Teamspective, select a Slack channel to which employees can send public praise messages.

That's all! If your employees' Slack account email address matches the email addresses in Teamspective, their accounts will be automatically linked and they will receive all future notifications directly to the Teamspective app in their Slack.

If an employee's Slack account is not linked, please check if the email addresses match. You can invite them again with the correct email and remove the old account, or contact Teamspective to update their email address.
