Learn how to enable Anonymous Chat and setup channels for specific use cases.

Updated over 4 months ago

The Anonymous Chat feature (formerly Management Feedback) is perfect for creating a safe channel for employees to reach out with any types of concerns.

With this feature you are able to:

  • allow employees to send anonymous feedback or reach out anonymously with sensitive topics,

  • continue an anonymous discussion with the employee who reached out - this allows you to learn more context or help guide the employee forward, and

  • guide employees to reach out to specific individuals within your organization with specific concerns or feedback.

💡 Employees using this feature can also decide to share their identity if they feel comfortable sharing their feedback or concern with their own name.

You will immediately have 2 default channels which can be activated by adding recipients who will receive the messages sent by employees.

Receiving messages and chatting with anonymous users

When a user is added as a recipient for a specific Anonymous Chat channel, they will be able to view messages that are sent to that specific channel.

📥 These recipients will receive a notification (email / Slack / Teams) from every new message which is sent to a channel they have access to. This notification contains a link to the Anonymous Chat discussion in the web app:

Anonymous Chat History

Within the specific channels, both individual users and recipients can access the previous discussions. This allows both parties to get back to the discussion when needed.
