How to Customize Overview Page Reporting
Last updated: December 10, 2025
Quick Summary
Workspace admins can tailor the Engagement Overview page by pinning, reordering, or hiding KPIs, Themes, and question scores.
Customization happens in Engagement → Customize surveys, and the final order can be adjusted directly on the Overview page.
Steps
Go to Engagement → Customize surveys → Questions / Themes / KPIs.
Pin a metric by clicking the pin icon on the left of the item you want to highlight.
(For Themes and KPIs) Set visibility by clicking the edit icon on the right → open the Visibility dropdown → choose the employee group (team, department) that should see the metric, or select Hidden to remove it from reporting.
To order metrics on the Overview page, open Overview → scroll to Key metrics & score drivers -> click Customize view → drag items into the desired order → click Save order.
Remember: pinned metrics also appear on the Heatmaps page when Overview is selected as the measurement.
Tip: Use visibility settings to tailor what different groups see without changing your overall metric structure.
Common Issue
If a metric does not appear on the Overview page, check:
Whether the metric is set to Hidden under its Visibility settings.
Whether the user belongs to the employee group selected for that metric.
Fix: Update the Visibility dropdown or adjust pinned items to ensure the correct metrics display.
FAQ
Q: Do pinning changes affect all users?
A: Yes, pinning is workspace-level and updates the Overview and Heatmaps views for all users.
Q: Can I make Themes/KPIs visible for only certain employees?
A: Yes. Use the Visibility dropdown on each metric (Theme/KPI) to control what appears for different employee groups.
Q: Does pinning or changing the order of metrics affect survey data?
A: No, it only updates what is displayed on the Overview page.
