How often are automatic Feedback request reminders sent out?

Last updated: March 20, 2026

Teamspective automatically sends reminders to participants who haven't responded to surveys. The reminder schedule depends on the length of your survey window.

Reminder Schedule

For engagement surveys and feedback requests, reminders are sent:

  • 1 hour before the survey closes

  • 1 day before the survey closes

  • Every 2 days before the 1-day reminder (for surveys with longer response windows)

The system automatically skips weekends when scheduling reminders, so they are typically sent on weekday mornings.

Important Details

  • Reminders are only sent to people who haven't responded yet

  • If you've answered only some questions in a multi-question survey, you may still receive reminders until all questions are completed

  • Reminders are sent based on your notification preferences - typically through Slack if you have it connected, otherwise via email

  • No reminders are sent for closed or expired surveys

Tracking Reminders

You can see when the last reminder was sent and when the next one is scheduled directly in the survey interface. Look for the reminder information in your survey dashboard - this helps you coordinate any manual communications to avoid overlapping with automatic reminders.

Note: The reminder format is being updated to be more informative and will soon include threaded replies to the original survey message for better context.
